The Synth Petting Zoo brings local artists together along with their gear and the public is invited to come explore a variety of vintage, custom-built and contemporary synthesizers and ask questions of their owners.  This is a great opportunity for artists to talk shop about their craft and choice of gear, and for those new to the world of synthesis to get a sense of directions they could take.

Garden City Electronic Music Society also holds other events as opportunities present themselves.  GCEMS has presented showcases as part of the Eventide Festival Series, the Integrate Arts Festival and the Canadian “Spirit of 150” celebrations.  GCEMS also works with other events by providing sound and technical supports, notably the main stage sound for Koksilah Music Festival in 2018 and 2019.
